Senior Legacy Life Insurance – Are They A Hoax?
In this Senior Legacy Life review, I will walk through the history, products, and promises of Senior Legacy Life, and explore the specific and common concerns seniors have when researching final expense life insurance.
Every week, you may see dozens of companies advertising on your television, the internet, and in your mailbox, all claiming to be the best.
Senior Legacy Life advertises with slick TV commercials designed to get your attention and often includes misleading claims about protection for $1 per day.
But, is it true, or a HOAX? I’ll fill you in on all the details in this article.
If you’d rather skip the research and see exactly what your rate would be, you can check your quote below, or call me, Randy, directly at 888-862-9456.

SENIOR LEGACY LIFE BACKGROUND
Senior Legacy Life Insurance is NOT an insurance company. They DO NOT issue policies, pay claims, or provide any coverage.
They are a marketing organization. They get somebody to call a toll-free number after seeing an ad.
When you call Senior Legacy Life, you are asked to provide your information, and Senior Legacy Life will then sell your personal information to life insurance agents (often inexperienced “newby” agents) who will then call you and try to sell you their insurance product (often overpriced).
This means you are giving your information over to a stranger company and agent. That agent pays for your info, often around $30-$60 on average for your private information.
Many seniors who have contacted Senior Legacy Life were absolutely shocked to learn that their personal information is being “sold”. Feelings of being violated in some cases.
Better: The Final Expense Guy operates differently. Instead of passing around your identifying information to sales agents, you are speaking directly with one licensed insurance professional who helps you review your options. This provides a level of transparency that would not be possible otherwise. Check your rate by calling the Final Expense Guy at 888-862-9456.
SENIOR LEGACY LIFE PRODUCTS
Senior Legacy Life ads highlight life insurance products intended to provide coverage for funeral, cremation, or final expense costs.
They sell the key benefit features as follows:
- Rates as low $1 per day (this is a marketing trick)
- Guaranteed acceptance for most seniors (mandatory 2-year wait)
- No medical exam (standard for all final expense companies)
- Coverage will never decrease (guaranteed whole life insurance benefit)
- Premiums will never increase (guaranteed whole life insurance benefit)
What is NOT usually advertised is the fine print. One dollar per day can usually only deliver a small death benefit that is totally inadequate to cover funeral costs or other final expenses.
We have seen seniors who thought they were getting $25,000 or more in coverage for the one dollar per day, only to learn that the death benefit was $2,000 to $4,000. This creates confusion, disappointment, and outright anger in some cases.
Better: The Final Expense Guy always explains how much coverage can be purchased with the premium offered up front. Get a free quote by calling the Final Expense Guy at 888-862-9456.
SENIOR LEGACY LIFE PRICE & VALUE
Have you ever noticed that television commercials NEVER give you the exact pricing?
They often force you to provide personal identifying details to an agent who you don’t even know. That means, there is no way you can comparison shop for plans online until you are contacted.
Many seniors tell us that once they have submitted their private personal information, they immediately get bombarded with hundreds of phone calls from strange life insurance agents. This is overwhelming, stressful, and confusing for most consumers.
Better: With The Final Expense Guy, you know what you are getting before committing. You know all of the insurance companies to review, to see which company provides the most meaningful coverage for your budget. See if you qualify by calling the Final Expense Guy at 888-862-9456.
POSITIVE FEATURES OF SENIOR LEGACY LIFE
Even with the concern raised, some seniors mention:
- It’s easier to qualify because they do not require a medical exam
- Appeals to those on limited incomes with their “guaranteed rate”
- Simple marketing theme that is easy to understand
- Quick application process that gets underway as soon as you connect with an agent
For some, that kind of simplicity provides a level of comfort. But as you will see in the next section, what is simple can hide the complexities.
NEGATIVE FEATURES AND COMPLAINTS
A common statement seniors say is that their experience does not live up to the advertising.
The most common concerns are:
- Believing they are working with an insurance company, whereas it has always been a marketing brand
- Possibly getting hundreds of calls from multiple agents, once they provide their personal information.
- Realizing the $1-a-day plans only provide small death benefit amounts…if any
- Not knowing if the policy is providing them with day-one full coverage, or whether they will be subject to a 2-year waiting period
- Not knowing how to compare prices without first identifying the benefits
We hear frequently from people saying they felt pressured to buy on the spot, once on the phone with an agent. And most say they would have preferred an independent review of all options with a more experienced professional.
Better: A Policy Review with the Final Expense Guy provides the opportunity to evaluate whether you are really getting value for your money. If you have been approved for a policy in the last 1-5 years, a review is recommended. Compare top-rated companies by calling the Final Expense Guy at 888-862-9456.
SENIOR LEGACY LIFE ADVERTISING STRATEGY
The TV commercials advertising Senior Legacy Life do get people’s attention.
They often run during typical daytime TV viewing when seniors are usually watching TV. The ads feature smiling families (all happy), claims of $ 1-a-day premiums, and promises of peace of mind.
Seniors and families quickly figure out they have been fooled if they thing they will get reasonable coverage for $1 a day!
Better: The Final Expense Guy does NOT use gimmicks. We focus on the easy approvals, the lowest rates, and plans that actually deliver the promised benefits. Find your lowest price by calling the Final Expense Guy at 888-862-9456.
SENIOR LEGACY LIFE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
Because the Senior Legacy Life isn’t the true insurer itself, customer service is inconsistent.
Once your identifying information is sold to a stranger agent, you don’t know what’s coming next. Some agents may be more knowledgeable and experienced than others.
This explains some of the variations in reviews from their advertisements.
Better: When you work with The Final Expense Guy, we guarantee you a pleasant shopping experience. You communicate directly with a single licensed insurance professional with tons of experience, who has signed up thousands of families in need across America. Chec your rate by calling the Final Expense Guy at 888-862-9456.
SENIOR LEGACY LIFE – BETTER OPTIONS?
The most important step is knowing your options. Many seniors who purchased policies as mentioned above are actually paying way more than they should be.
Better: A Final Expense Guy Policy Review can quickly identify whether there is a better insurance option for you.
Better: With access to dozens of carriers that have excellent ratings and scores, we can compare value side by side in a simple format to explain where the value in coverage really exists. We help many seniors save hundreds of dollars or increase their death benefit. Get a free quote by calling the Final Expense Guy at 888-862-9456.
SENIOR LEGACY LIFE REVIEW CONCLUSION
We receive reports from seniors who say they are shocked to receive upwards of hundreds of calls from agents representing different brands after calling Senior Legacy Life. We also hear lots of complaints regarding vague coverage details and disappointment when the benefits were smaller or altogether different from what they expected.
For that reason alone, we DON’T recommend Senior Legacy Life.
Better: Working with The Final Expense Guy means you are going to receive straightforward answers, proper pricing, and protection for your family. You will receive personal service from your “agent for life” who has over a decade of experience in supporting people just like you. The commercial on tv is despicable and from the 50s it shows the woman bowed head like subservient person weak. Don’t like the message you’re sending. Woman are not weak and should be treated as equals. Take off this commercial. Disgusting, makes me angry and sick to my stomach. Don’t contact me any way shape or form.

you're doing the same thing as the company that you're tearing down. The only difference is that we get to see the possible rates we could end up paying. I'd rather deal directly with the insurance company. What's your cut? Because that's the only reason you middlemen exist.
Final Expense Guy
Shanikqua – We are not tearing them down…what we do is strive to providing information that the average consumers may not have access to. By doing so, they get better coverage for less money.
Captive insurance companies only sell their own products, and they are typically 30-200% more expensive (depending on the company).
As a broker, we get to shop all the best companies and help people avoid 2-year waiting period plans as we specialize in 1st day coverage.
We get paid a commission to help people with the best coverage…but you don't pay any extra for that as the insurance companies pay that to us. Any agent that is contacted to an insurance companies products gets the same commission, so you should be shopping for the agent that will give a person 1st-day coverage at the lowest rates.
